Fanatec Direct Drive technology for precise force feedback

The Direct Drive technology of the CSL DD QR2 ensures that the steering wheel is mounted directly on the motor axle, without belts or gears. As a result, the force feedback is transmitted to your hands unadulterated and extremely precisely. This technology guarantees a realistic driving experience that the developers of the racing simulations originally intended, so that you can feel every track and every vehicle feeling exactly.

Maximum power with 8 Nm torque

Thanks to the Boost Kit 180 and a 180W power supply, the CSL DD QR2 achieves a peak output of 8 Nm torque, resulting in stronger force feedback. You will perceive every detail of the track and your chassis even more clearly, helping you to improve your racing technique. The aluminum housing also acts as a heat sink, so the system remains stable even at high power without relying on active cooling.

Motorsport-derived quick release system

The QR2 Quick Release system enables the steering wheel to be attached quickly and securely without additional adjustments. Developed from real motorsport technology, originally used in the BMW M4 GT3 race car, this system provides a stable connection between the steering wheel and base and ensures high precision and fast response times. The hot-swap design allows you to easily change the steering wheel without having to restart the simulation or the steering wheel.

Efficiency and adaptability

The CSL DD QR2 offers high efficiency and fast response times through the use of a carbon fiber reinforced motor shaft material that reduces rotational mass, significantly improving motor acceleration and response speed. You can also adjust the steering wheel's rotation angle up to 2520 degrees, allowing you to customize it for any vehicle model or racing scenario. With the Fanatec Tuning Menu software, you can customize the force feedback characteristics to your preferences.
