The Podium DD Wheel Base with a constant 25 Nm torque is the absolute high-end direct drive system from Fanatec. Developed for uncompromising simracing, it delivers extremely powerful, finely resolved force feedback with maximum thermal stability and professional build quality - designed for simracers who accept no limits. Thanks to the combination with the wheel hub with 70 mm and 50.8 mm bolt circle, the bundle is compatible with many popular 3rd party steering wheels.

Absolute precision without compromise
The Podium DD offers the widest dynamic range Fanatec has ever achieved in a wheel base. With a constantly available holding torque of 25 Nm, steering forces are not only powerful but, above all, reproduced with absolute precision and nuance. Every change in load, every piece of feedback from the vehicle, and every shift in weight is transmitted directly and unfiltered to your hands, creating an extremely realistic, professional-level steering feel.
Sophisticated design for maximum loads
Although the enclosure remains compact, the Podium DD has been completely redesigned internally. The enclosure, made entirely of aluminum, the solid motor shaft, and the reinforced bearing housings are designed to withstand significantly higher forces and vibrations than conventional direct-drive bases. This design ensures maximum rigidity, precise power transmission, and absolute control even under extreme steering inputs.
Consistent performance thanks to thermal stability
Many force-feedback systems cannot sustain their maximum torque over the long term. The Podium DD was specifically designed to deliver consistent performance even under continuous load. Reinforced electronics, a newly developed heat sink, and optimized heat dissipation prevent performance loss due to overheating and guarantee a consistently available, genuine 25-nm experience in every riding situation.
3rd party compatibility thanks to Wheel Hub
The Fanatec Wheel Hub connects third-party USB steering wheels to your Fanatec Direct Drive System, enabling force feedback for a realistic driving experience. The compact unit combines a QR2 wheel-side quick-release mechanism with integrated electronics and, thanks to its robust die-castaluminum construction. With 70 mm and 50.8 mm bolt circles, the unit is compatible with many popular steering wheels.

Warranty
We provide a 3‑year warranty on this product. During this period, we will repair any material or manufacturing defects free of charge. If a defect occurs, simply contact our Technical Support – we will take care of the repair or replacement quickly and without hassle.
Shipping
All products are dispatched directly from our own EU warehouse in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. As a rule, shipments are made via FedEx or GLS.
